Women in focus

We women go through a lot in life such as hormonal rollercoasters in the form of PMS, pregnancy, childbirth, menopause and everything in between. Women and men have, among other things, slightly different needs when it comes to nutrition and supplements. It can feel like a jungle to navigate and find what is right for you.

Iron

It is a mineral that we women lose every month during menstruation and need to replenish periodically. Iron deficiency is one of the world's most common nutritional deficiencies and it is therefore important to keep track of your iron levels. An easy way to give the body a little extra iron is through supplements and we have therefore developed a real premium product containing easily absorbed iron bisglycinate that is gentle on the stomach. It also contains vitamin C, which further increases iron absorption.

Iron deficiency is one of the most common nutritional deficiencies in the world, so it is important to keep track of your iron levels.

Folic acid

It is a B vitamin that women may need a little extra of if you want to get pregnant or are pregnant. Folic acid is important for fetal development and a lack of folic acid can cause damage such as spina bifida. It is therefore recommended to start taking folic acid supplements some time before you plan to get pregnant and at least 3 months into the pregnancy. In addition to pregnancy, folic acid reduces tiredness and fatigue and has many other functions in the body.

Vitamin D, magnesium and omega-3

These are so-called 'basic nutrients' and substances that we all need to function. Vitamin D is recommended during autumn and winter when the sun is absent, but can be taken all year round. Magnesium can be consumed continuously and especially if you experience, for example, tired muscles, muscle cramps or fatigue. Omega-3 is found in oily fish, for example, if you know that you do not eat it at least twice a week, a supplement can be a good addition.

Pregnancy

Folic acid - As mentioned above, folic acid is very important before and during the first 3 months of pregnancy for the development of the fetus. Our folic acid is a premium supplement based on Quatrefolic® which is a highly bioavailable, patented form of folic acid that is perfect for those who want to get pregnant or who are already pregnant.

Menopause

This period can be challenging for many, partly because it is the end of one's fertile period in life, and partly because it is the beginning of something new. During menopause, a woman goes through a major hormonal change that can cause all sorts of symptoms such as hot flushes, difficulty sleeping, mood swings, sweating, low sex drive, fatigue and depression to name some of the most common complaints. This of course affects your daily life and well-being and can last for years. To help you through menopause, we have developed a supplement called MeNo - Menopause balance. MeNo consists of red clover which contains substances similar to estrogen and helps to maintain a calm and comfortable menopause. Red clover helps women manage the symptoms associated with menopause, such as hot flushes, sweating, restlessness and irritability. It also contains yam, vitamin B6 and organic cucumber oil rich in the fatty acid GLA.

Stress

I don't think anyone can deny that women live a stressful life today. We have to keep up with a full-time job, family, friends, home, exercise and much more, which means that many have chronic stress in their bodies, which is not good in the long run. In addition to lifestyle changes, there are nutrients that the body may need extra of in periods of high stress. We can highly recommend Ashwagandha, which is an herb that balances the body during stress. Nutrients such as B vitamins and magnesium are also important as the body consumes more during prolonged stress. In addition, we have recently released a fantastic product called "Good Mood" based on saffron, ashwagandha, rose root and lactium. It is designed for emotional balance and positive mood, reducing stress and increasing relaxation.
