Important vitamin to prevent disease

Vitamin C plays a variety of roles in the body and is very helpful in many processes. The vitamin is involved in the formation of collagen in connective tissue, but it also increases iron absorption in the body when you take vitamin C, which in turn makes you feel more energetic. A lack of vitamin C can make you feel unwell as the vitamin helps the nervous system to function properly. During and after intense physical exercise, vitamin C is important for the normal functioning of the immune system. Vitamin C also protects fat-soluble vitamins and other fatty substances in the body from oxidation, i.e. decomposition. If the oxidative process continues, diseases eventually develop in the body.

Vitamin C is needed to form collagen

In the human body, the bones of the skeleton are held together by joints that can move against each other, allowing the whole body to move. The cartilage is what makes the joints more resistant to wear and tear and gives them a surface that allows them to slide against each other. Cartilage is made up mainly of the most important human protein, collagen. Collagen forms the fibrous structures that hold the skin - the body's largest organ - together. Over the years, the amount of collagen decreases, but the production of collagen also decreases, making the skin more lax. Adding extra collagen slows down the ageing process. For the body to produce collagen in bones, cartilage, skin and blood vessels, vitamin C is needed above all.

If you want to take 2 capsules daily, should you take them at the same time or at different times?

-Please use them on different occasions. Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that the body absorbs a certain amount of at a time, the rest we urinate out. Therefore, if you want to take more than one tablet, spreading out your intake over the day will increase your absorption.

What are bioflavonoids?

-Bioflavonoids are vitamin-like substances that interact with, and enhance the effect of, vitamin C. Examples of bioflavonoids are quercetin, rutin, hesperedin and others. Many of these are found in citrus fruits.

Can you share the tablet if you want?

-Absolutely you can do that easily with a knife on a cutting board.
